Visit North Cyprus
The Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) is in the northern and eastern reaches of Cyprus, with scheduled flights from London, Manchester and other regional airports providing means of entry. Ercan Airport or Geçitkale Airport, are North Cyprus’ two international airports. No visa is required for British or EU citizens wishing to visit or cross between the northern and southern parts of the country, meaning those wishing to fly into Larnaca and Paphos can easily commute to the north of the island in just over an hour.
The real Cyprus
North Cyprus invites you to experiance the real ‘Cyprus feeling’ that first attracted the curious traveller to this island paradise. It’s as if time has stood still; a calmer, more genuine experience being the reward for its recent isolation. The magnificent, undisturbed landscape remains a haven for unique flora and fauna and in the towns and villages life continues at a pace so much more suitable to utter, unbridled relaxation.
Pristine and Unspoilt
Cyprus is the third largest island in the Mediterranean. It also happens to be one of the most beautiful. Separated from southern Cyprus, Northern Cyprus is predominantly Turkish. Abundant in pristine, unspoilt beaches, fascinating archaeological sites, and colourful cuisine, Northern Cyprus is a must-visit if you’re craving history and culture with a lot of sun. In 2019, more than 1.3 million British travellers ventured to this stunning part of the world.
